Good afternoon Parents and Guardians,
We have officially wrapped up a wonderful school year! Thank you so much for all of your support throughout the year—we have truly loved having your children in our classrooms.
Please check out our final MMS Newsletter to look back at our end-of-year celebrations and to complete your time-sensitive registrations for next year (including busing, sports, and band).
Have a fantastic and well-deserved summer vacation!
Take care,

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! As your child transitions into the next grade, they will have the exciting opportunity to explore a variety of Unified Arts (UA) classes. Standard UA offerings include Art, Technology, Physical Education, General Music, Health, Explorations, and Library.
We are writing to invite students who have a passion for singing, or who want to try something new, to sign up for 7 & 8th Grade Chorus!
Before you and your child make a decision, please review the following important details regarding how electing Chorus impacts their schedule:
Yearlong Commitment: Chorus is a yearlong course. Students who sign up are committing to staying in the ensemble for the entire school year.
Schedule Impact: If your child chooses Chorus, it will replace General Music. They will take Chorus as their music class, plus three other UA classes throughout the school year.
How to Sign Up
If your child is interested in joining Chorus, please complete the Google Form linked below:
👉 MS 7/8 Chorus Interest Sign-Up
Please Note: This form is only for students who wish to elect Chorus. If your child prefers to take the standard rotation of Unified Arts classes (including General Music), you do not need to fill out this form. Please complete this form as soon as possible as we are building schedules now for this fall.
Thank you for supporting the arts in our school! We look forward to a wonderful year of making music together. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Warmly,
Ana Hurley
Middle School Principal

MMS Student Handbook Updates
Dear Millis Public School Community,
We are writing to inform you that the student handbooks for Clyde F. Brown Elementary School, Millis Middle School, and Millis High School have been amended. These amendments were approved by the Millis School Committee on May 12, 2026 and are currently in effect.
These updates include revisions to ensure that our school procedures and policies are fully aligned with current Massachusetts laws regarding student discipline, harassment, and bullying. In addition, the amendments reflect changes recommended to support alignment with policies reviewed and approved by the Millis Public Schools School Committee in Fall 2025.
Our goal in making these updates is to maintain consistency across all schools while ensuring a safe, supportive, and legally compliant learning environment for all students.
We encourage families to review the handbook amendments, which are available on each school’s website. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s school.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
Sincerely,
Ana B. Hurley
Principal
