Good evening,
We are implementing an updated late bus policy to ensure all middle school students are safe, supported, and properly supervised after school. We shared this information with students last week, and wanted to be sure you are aware ahead of tomorrow’s implementation.
Middle school students who remain after school for a club or other school-sponsored activity from 2:30–3:20 PM will receive a bus pass upon completion of their activity. The late bus is available only for students participating in school-based activities. Students who leave an activity early, go into town, or stay after school to socialize will not be permitted to ride the late bus.
We appreciate your partnership in encouraging students to fully participate in their activities and to follow these expectations. Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain a safe and well-organized after-school program. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Take care,
Ana Hurley

Good afternoon,
As we head into the short holiday break, I want to share how thankful I am to be part of the Millis Middle School community. Our students bring so much energy and heart to school each day, and our staff works tirelessly to support them. I’m also grateful for our families and the steady support you give our school. You help bring our motto to life every day: Small School, Big Family.
I hope the next few days give you time to slow down, rest, and enjoy the people who matter most to you. Even a brief break can make a big difference. I hope it brings your family comfort, joy, and a nice reset before we return.
Here's some joyful information in our MMS newsletter from this past week and some important dates coming up.
Take care,
Ana
